There will be lots of actionable tips for you to level up your business, your mindset and your life.
And let's face it, you can apply all of these strategies to any product-based business. I'm so glad you're here. Let's dive in.
Hello and welcome. It is so good to be here with you today. I am having such a productive week.
And I have to say that the past few months with this podcast has really opened my eyes to so much of what all entrepreneurs are going through at any given time. It's really fascinating to see how all entrepreneurs at every stage of their business are facing challenges. And it is such a good reminder that entrepreneurship is just problem-solving.
You're just solving problems and you're solving problems at the level that you are capable of. So if you are only capable of small problems, you're going to stay at a certain level in your business. Your business is going to grow at the level of problems that you are able to solve.
So I know this is a little bit controversial. Some people find this a little bit triggering, but honestly, that is the reality because if you are not able to commit problems in your business from a very grounded, clear, strategic, focused place, then you are not going to cope with your business as it grows. If you're unable to deal with the problems that show up when you're making 50,000 a year in your business, you will not be able to cope with the problems that come up when you're making 500,000 in your business.
So I want you to reframe how you see problems that show up in your business. I want you to look at them as opportunities for growth and opportunities for learning and opportunities for improving your business. That reframe, it's such a small reframe and it's so easy to do.
It's just difficult to remember in the moment, but that small reframe is really going to impact the way that you show up in your business. It's going to impact the way that you deal with problems in your business as well. When you're looking at problems that come up instead of being like, oh my goodness, why is this happening again? I'm over this.
I want to give up. Entrepreneurship is not for me. When these problems come up, you say to yourself, yes, this is a big problem.
This is one of the biggest problems I've faced in my business, and this is good because this means I'm growing and this means my business is growing. And growth is at the other side of these. Overcoming these little challenges is going to grow you as a person.
It's going to grow your business. And so reframe the way you see challenges in your business and reframe the way that you show up in your business and deal with these problems and see them as opportunities for growth and for learning. So this is also just a really good reminder to stop playing small in your business.
Playing small, showing up hesitantly on Instagram, doing sort of just the bare minimum, not speaking openly about your business to your friends and family and people that you meet, not having that empowering energy about you and owning the fact that you're a jewelry business owner and owning the fact that you're a designer and owning the fact that so many people love your designs and they love what you do and you have a growing community. You know, not owning that is keeping you and your business small. And I know how challenging it can be to step into that role of CEO or business owner or even just jewelry designer.
It is crazy to me how many jewelry designers I meet who are absolutely creating the most beautiful pieces are hesitant to introduce themselves as jewelry designers. They still have that little thing in the back of their mind telling them that, you know, you're not a real designer. You're not that good.
You know, and it's so sad to me as well because these are incredibly talented designers and it's important to remember that everyone's all these designers are designing different styles as well. So just because you have a specific style that you're good at doesn't mean that you're not a real designer. So I want you to stop caring what other people are thinking about you, stop playing small in your business.
The next level of your business requires a next level version of you. And entrepreneurship is truly a personal growth journey. So the more that you can reframe the way you're showing up in your business, the more you can reframe the way you handle problems in your business, the more you can do that inner work and grow and show up from in your business from a really grounded place, the more your business is going to grow and the more you're going to grow you're going to grow as well.
So this is just a short and sweet little solo so to get you started this week. I hope it inspires you to reframe any problems that are coming up in your business. And I hope it's a good reminder to you to stop playing small in your business if you want to see big results.
So if you would like a little journaling activity, what you can do is journal all the things that all the problems you've had over the past month and what were all the problems, the tiny ones, the bigger ones, what were they and how did you deal with them? And what did you learn from them? I think just doing that exercise is going to give you so much insight into actually how crucial those problems were in helping your business grow and you know having those little problems now is going to prevent other bigger problems down the line because now you have that awareness. So I think that would be a really good activity for you to do if you have 10 minutes to sit and journal and if you do that exercise let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear from you.
And I have been working on something really special for all the jewelry business owners who are not yet full-time in their business. So I know a lot of people listening to this. We have a mix, we have some full-time jewelry business owners who've been going for years and are hitting big numbers in their business and then we have some just starting out or still doing the part-time thing and everyone's welcome here of course but I've been working on something special for those of you who are part-time who have limited time and limited resources to invest in your business but you would love to see your business go to the next level and you would love to potentially leave your job and do this business full-time down the line.
So if that sounds like something that would interest you then send me a DM on Instagram and I'll share a little bit more about it. It is still going to be part of the jewelry business academy program which I know you've heard about and me talk about a lot but it is going to be much more supportive to anyone who has limited time and limited like energy to invest in their business at this stage and it's going to be very supportive with for you over the long term. So I'm really excited to start working with you and start helping you get your business ready to go full-time and help get those sales up to the next level and yeah feel free to message me on Instagram it is Robin Clark Coaching and if you enjoyed this little episode please leave a five-star review on Apple podcasts.
